Adoption Fees
The fees for adopting animals at Hi Tor Animal Care Center help us provide medical care, spay and neuter costs, and shelter the animals in our care. Prior to adoption all of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. All cats are spayed/neutered and vaccinated. Micro-chipping is optional.

Surrender & Reclaim Fees

If you have decided to give your pet to Hi Tor Animal Care Center, you will be asked to sign a release form giving Hi Tor ownership of the animal. Once you have signed the release statement, you may not reclaim your pet but you are welcome to call us to check on the pet's status.
If your pet came into Hi Tor Animal Care Center you may reclaim it by coming to the shelter during business hours. The fees below cover only a portion of our cost to collect, care for and treat stray animals. Pet owners are encouraged to leash or contain their pets humanely to protect their animals and to avoid costly redemption fees and possible citations.
